1. C-INSIGHT – Server Installation
    1. Server Prerequisite 

Before starting the C-INSIGHT Server installation (MSI) need to validate following:

  1. Server is installed with Windows Server 2019 STD 64BIT
  2. Server is joined to domain controller.
  3. Server time zone & Clock are sync with NTP server.
  4. Firewall is disable.
  5. User Access Control is set to “Never Notify”
  6. Install the following 3rd party SW:
    1. Microsoft SQL Server Compact 4.0 Setup
      1. SSCERuntime_x64-ENU.msi
      2. SSCERuntime_x64-ENU_SP1.exe
    2. Notepad++
    3. Trace32.exe
    4. ChromeStandaloneSetup64.exe


    1. Server Certification
  • Verify server certification is installed:
    • Start 🡪 run 🡪 mmc 🡪 file 🡪 add/remove Snap-in..

    • Select “certification” and “ADD” to right panel

    • Select “Computer account” 🡪 Next 🡪 Finish 🡪 OK

    • Right click 🡪 “Personal” 🡪 All Tasks 🡪 Request New Certificate s:


                       

    • Select Next 🡪 Next 
    • In Next screen select the 2 C4I certificate’s 🡪 Enroll

                       

    • Verify Enroll is successful


                       


    1. C-INSIGHT Server Installation:


  1. Login to server as c4isrv user
  2. Copy the MSI to C:\install folder
  3. Right click on MSI 🡪 install 



       

  1. The welcome screen appears


         

  1. Click Next.


       

  1. Click next.



  1. The Custom setup screen appears 


      


  1. Unmark Client, Database and MonitorX. (Only “Server” should be checked and CIT in case needed on that server)
  2. Click Next.





  1. The Configuration screen appears 🡪 configure the user c4isrv to run the C4i service.


  1. In the Data Base configuration screen 🡪 Add Vulcan instance name and test with “ConnectDB” button 🡪 Click “Next 




    

  1. Click Install.



   

  1. Click Finish.
  2. Open windows Services and verify C4I service configure correctly and it running
